Colorado Hockey Institute
The Colorado Hockey Institute was founded in 2007 by Jim Plummer with a vision to provide services aimed at improving hockey education for coaches, athletes and hockey associations.  We can perform direct education and research in addition to offering organizational, management, marketing and technology services.  

Our network of skilled coaches have a love for the game of hockey and a desire to create "Better Hockey Through Better Education".
History

Born in Ottawa, Ontario,  Jim moved to Colorado in 1993 and continues to live there today. Jim has over 40 years of passion for hockey which includes playing the game in Canada, the UK and Colorado, in addition to coaching youth hockey.

 

Jim is currently a Level 4 USA Hockey coach,  Hockey Canada NCCP Development I coach, and is the Head Coach for the U14A  team with the Colorado Select Girls Hockey Association. Jim also serves on the Colorado Select Board of Directors as the Co-Director of Coaching. In 2008-2009 Jim was the coach for the U14AA team with the Colorado Select, who won the Rocky Mountain District Championship. In 2007-2008 Jim was honored by the Colorado Select as the Coach of the Year.
